, energy-saving and emissions reduction have been
a world trend benefiting future generations.
In the light of the statement of Premier Wen Jiabao
in the Government Work Report that ¡° (We shall)
encourage and support the development of environment-friendly
and energy-saving automobiles. In addition to
the development of small-displacement cars and
energy-saving cars, light-duty electric vehicles
are an important direction¡± and in response to
the trend of the world, we develop this motorcycle
gasoline-electric hybrid power system through
cooperation with senior experts and professors
from various colleges and institutes, in order
to offer our consumers diversified transportation
tools of multi-levels for their choice, as a compensation
for the high fuel consumption and high emission
of motorcycles and short driving range on a single
charge, long charging time , insufficient power,
and poor gradability of electric vehicles.
This motorcycle gasoline-electric hybrid power
system, in short, is a latest-generation power
which enables driving either with only gasoline,
or with only electricity, or with both gasoline
and electricity , through combination of gasoline
engine and state-of-the-art printed motor.
In details, this latest hybrid power system is
formed by grafting an extra-thin DC low-voltage
(48 V) /large power (over 600W) printed motor
onto 50/125 motorcycle engine. This printed motor
as the electrically-driving power is only a copper-embedded
disc of 12 cm diameter and 0.5 cm thickness. The
hybrid power consisting of the gasoline-engine
and printed motor works with a gasoline-electricity
switching device, electric-driving device, energy-conversion
device, integrated control device, and throttle
telescopic, speed sampling, charging protection
devices. A motorcycle equipped with this system
is a hybrid power motorcycle which uses only one
driving system consisting of two power units:
electric power and gasoline power, and form the
features of a hybrid power motorcycle by combining
the advantages of a motorcycle and an electric
vehicle and overcoming their disadvantages respectively.
Significantly reduce the emission of toxic and
harmful tail gas such as HC,CO . 2. Save energy
and resource. The battery will be charged under
gasoline-driving status so as to make full use
of fuel , effectively extend the electric-driving
mileage, and contribute to the saving of energy.
